We trade used truck cranes internationally, buying where machines come available and selling into the markets that need them, from our base in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai and beyond. These are truck cranes used for road-mobile lifting across multiple sites, mostly Tadano-Faun, Kato and Grove. We trade regularly with China, sea freight into Shanghai, Ningbo or Tianjin. We buy in this market as well as sell into it.
What we stock
Our truck crane stock changes constantly, we are buying as well as selling, so the list below is drawn live from our catalogue rather than written by hand. Typical makes are Tadano-Faun, Kato and Grove.
Every machine is sold as inspected. We do not overstate condition: what you see in the photographs on each listing is what ships. Serial numbers, year and hours are published on the listing page for each unit. If a machine you need is not on the list, we will source it, that is a large part of what we do.
Supplying China
Dawood Ahmed & Co is a dealer, not a broker. The machines we quote are ours, which means we can confirm availability immediately and let you inspect before you pay, and because we buy worldwide, we can go and find a specific machine when our own stock does not have it.
We supply contractors, plant hirers and fellow dealers in China, and we buy from them too. Repeat buyers order by phone against photographs; first-time buyers usually inspect, or send a third-party inspector, and we are happy to accommodate either. Shipping runs by sea freight into Shanghai, Ningbo or Tianjin.
Inspection, loading and paperwork
Machines can be inspected on any working day where they stand. We will start and run a truck crane for you, and there is no objection to you bringing your own technician or a third-party inspection company.
Once a machine is sold we handle loading and lashing, and issue the commercial documents. Shipping documentation for China is prepared in-house.
