Dawood Ahmed & Co has bought and sold used motor graders worldwide since 1996, with stock held in the UAE and sourced from markets across Europe, Japan, the Gulf and the United States. These are motor graders used for fine grading of roads, haul roads and formation levels, mostly Caterpillar and Komatsu. Serial numbers, year and hours are published on the listing page for each unit. If a machine you need is not on the list, we will source it, that is a large part of what we do.

What drives the price of a used motor grader

There is no single figure. Year, hours, make and condition move the price of a used motor grader more than anything else, and a well-maintained older machine will often be worth more than a neglected newer one. Caterpillar units tend to hold value best.

For that reason we quote per machine rather than publishing a list price. Tell us the specification you need and where it is going, Saudi Arabia, via road freight through Batha, or sea freight into Dammam and Jeddah, and we will come back the same working day with a firm price on the units that fit, whether from stock or sourced.

Quotes are ex-works where the machine stands unless you ask for a delivered price, which we are happy to give. Taxes, duties and registration in the destination country are not included unless we state so in writing.

Machines can be inspected on any working day where they stand. We will start and run a motor grader for you, and there is no objection to you bringing your own technician or a third-party inspection company.

Once a machine is sold we handle loading and lashing, and issue the commercial documents. Shipping documentation for Saudi Arabia is prepared in-house.
