What we stock
Our generator stock changes constantly, we are buying as well as selling, so the list below is drawn live from our catalogue rather than written by hand. Typical makes are FG Wilson, Denyo and Caterpillar.
Every machine is sold as inspected. We do not overstate condition: what you see in the photographs on each listing is what ships. Serial numbers, year and hours are published on the listing page for each unit. If a machine you need is not on the list, we will source it, that is a large part of what we do.
Supplying Abu Dhabi
Dawood Ahmed & Co is a dealer, not a broker. The machines we quote are ours, which means we can confirm availability immediately and let you inspect before you pay, and because we buy worldwide, we can go and find a specific machine when our own stock does not have it.
We supply contractors, plant hirers and fellow dealers across Abu Dhabi, and we buy from them too. Repeat buyers order by phone against photographs; first-time buyers usually inspect, or send a third-party inspector, and we are happy to accommodate either. Delivery across Abu Dhabi.
Inspection, loading and paperwork
Machines can be inspected on any working day where they stand. We will start and run a generator for you, and there is no objection to you bringing your own technician or a third-party inspection company.
Once a machine is sold we handle loading and lashing, and issue the commercial documents. Local deliveries are arranged on low-bed transport.

- No, prices depend on the individual machine's year, hours and condition, and stock turns over quickly. Send us the specification you are after and we will quote the same working day, from stock or sourced.

- Yes. Every machine is sold as inspected and you are welcome to view it on any working day, wherever it stands. If you cannot travel, we will send additional photographs and video, and you may appoint a third-party inspector.
- Do you deliver to Abu Dhabi?
- Yes, delivery across Abu Dhabi. Transport is quoted separately from the machine.
